Selling your Lekty'Books

Connect your Stripe payment accountNew

Your Stripe account collects your sales and pays them out to your bank account. First, you choose the country where you do business: your Lekty'Books are sold in your bank account's currency (euro, pound, dollar…). The identity form is provided by Stripe: Lektify doesn't store any banking data. Until your account is active, a banner reminds you and paid publishing is blocked.

1. Open your account menu and click « Payment account » (or « Connect → » on the « My Lekty'Books » banner).
2. Choose « The country where you do business ».
3. Click « Start Stripe onboarding → » and fill in Stripe's identity form, then come back to Lektify.
4. If any information is missing, click « Resume onboarding → » or « Complete your information → ».
5. While verification is in progress, click « Refresh status » until you see « Your payment account is active ».

Free works without Stripe: the « Later » banner lets you keep going without being blocked. Your international visitors see a price « ≈ in your currency » on your Lekty'Book's page.

Free, one-time purchase, subscription or bothNew

Four ways to sell: « Free », « One-time purchase » (lifetime access), « Monthly subscription » or « Purchase + Subscription » (the Lekty'Fan chooses). Lektify instantly shows you what you'll earn, with VAT and commission deducted.

1. Open your Lekty'Book and click the « Access type » menu.
2. Choose « Free », « One-time purchase », « Monthly subscription » or « Purchase + Subscription ».
3. Enter the « Purchase price » and/or the « Monthly price » (minimum €4.99 for each).
4. Check the estimate « you'll earn ≈ … » (before Stripe fees).
5. Click « Save »: the « Updated » message confirms it's saved.

Key selling point: a subscription's MRR (monthly recurring revenue), for content you keep enriching month after month. For a subscription, you can also offer a free trial in this same menu.

What your buyer experiences

On your Lekty'Book's page, the reader clicks « Buy » or « Subscribe » (both for hybrid), confirms their order, pays on Stripe and starts reading right away. They get a confirmation email.

1. The reader clicks « Buy · price » or « Subscribe · price/month » (or « Access for free »).
2. The « Confirm your order » window asks them to check the box for immediate access and waiver of the right of withdrawal (required) and, if they want, to agree to receive your news.
3. They click « Continue to payment » and pay on Stripe.
4. On « Payment confirmed! », they click « Read now »: the Lekty'Book is already in their library.
5. They get the confirmation email for their purchase or subscription.

Access opens as soon as payment goes through, with no delay and no duplicates: this is the most visible promise for the buyer.

Your sales in My spaceNew

Your share front and center (what you get after VAT and commission, before Stripe fees), this month, your active subscriptions and your all-time total. Each paid subscription month counts as one sale, with no duplicates. Each row leads to the Lekty'Fan's profile.

1. In the PODS bar, hover over « My space » and click « Sales » (or click « Sales » in the My space menu).
2. At the top, check « Your share this month », « Active subscriptions » and « Your share all time ».
3. Filter with « All », « Purchases » or « Subscriptions », or type in « Search for a Lekty'Fan or a Lekty'Book… ».
4. Click « Recent ↓ » to reverse the order (it becomes « Oldest ↑ »).
5. Click a Lekty'Fan's name to see all their sales, or « Profile → » to open their profile. « Show all » takes you back to the list.

The table shows the 200 most recent sales. The start of a buyer's email only appears if they agreed to receive your news.

Notification for every sale

A « Sales » icon with a counter tells you about every purchase and every subscription, with your share.

1. Find the « Sales » icon and its counter in the top bar.
2. Click it: the « My sales » list opens (« X bought… », « X subscribed to… »).
3. Click a sale to open « Sales » in My space, filtered on that reader.
4. Click « See all → » to open the full page in My space.
5. The counter resets to zero when you open it.

Tracked links: clicks and salesNew

Every piece of content in the Creative Lab has its own tracked link: you know how many clicks it got and how many sales it drove.

1. Open a piece of content in the Creative Lab.
2. Find the « Tracked link » block.
3. Click « Copy » and paste the link into your caption or bio (on networks with clickable links, it's already on the last line of your caption).
4. Come back later to check « N clicks · N sales ».

Demo: show that a reel really sold, with numbers to back it up.

What's guaranteed behind the scenes

Stripe payments on your own account, VAT collected by Lektify and commission calculated on every sale (rounded in your favor), refunds and disputes tracked, payments refused without the required consent, and a safeguard against bypassing the commission. Refunds are handled from your Stripe dashboard.

1. Nothing to do: every sale is calculated and recorded automatically.
2. To refund a buyer, open your Stripe dashboard (there's no button in Lektify for now).
3. Find the refunded or disputed status in My space › « Sales ».

Solid proof: a real purchase was collected and then refunded in production to check everything.
