The Creative Lab

Edit in the workshops

Each piece of content opens in its own workshop: video for a reel, carousel, post or story. You edit everything by hand or with Agent Kéry, then download a file that's ready to publish.

A content page

Each piece of content has its own tabs: the workshop (video, carousel, post or story), "Script", "Caption and publishing" ("Text and publishing" for a post) and "Agency report". You can copy everything in one click.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › My content › "Open"
  1. In "My content", click "Open" on a piece of content.
  2. Switch between tabs: "Video workshop" (or "Carousel workshop", "Post workshop", "Story workshop"), "Script", "Caption and publishing".
  3. Use "Copy the script" and "Copy the shot list" (reel), "Copy the slide text" (carousel), "Copy the post text", "Copy the caption" or "Copy this hook".
  4. Click "Schedule" to add it to your calendar.

The reel video workshop

Your reel shows up as clips on a single timeline, with the preview and the video settings in drawers. The script and clips stay in sync: change one and the other updates, with automatic saving.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › My content › a reel › "Video workshop""Ask Agent Kéry": 10 tokens per clip (12 on Freemium).
  1. Open your reel from "My content".
  2. Click a clip on the timeline to adjust it, or use its toolbar: "Before", "After", "Duplicate", "Add after", "Delete", or "Ask Agent Kéry" to have him write a clip.
  3. Open the settings drawers: "Title", "Voice" (who speaks, "Pace" "Lively" or "Calm"), "Transition", "Subtitles" ("Karaoke", "Classic" or "None"), "Decor" (line, overlay, shadow, logo) and "Ending".
  4. To set the transition for just one cut, click its diamond on the timeline.
  5. Undo or redo with ⌘Z and ⌘⇧Z (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z on PC).

Karaoke subtitles light up the word being spoken: most people watch with the sound off.

The reel's hook, CTA and end cardNew

Your reel can open with a hook (the opening line, spoken and shown in large text before the first image) and close with a CTA (the call to action), followed by an end card with your logo. You add, change or remove them on the timeline.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a reel › "Video workshop" › timeline
  1. On the timeline, click "+ Hook" to add the hook at the start, or "+ CTA" to add the call to action at the end.
  2. Click the "Hook" or "CTA" clip to write its text, or pick one of "Agent Kéry's ideas".
  3. For the end card, open the "Ending" drawer and choose "None", "Logo" or "Logo + website".
  4. To remove a hook or a CTA, click "Remove from the video". "Undo" brings it back.

For a cold audience, the end card is empty by default: you don't sell to people who aren't looking for anything.

Each clip's background

Behind each clip, you choose a photo or video from the royalty-free library (Pexels, with the creator's name), your own media (ME badge), the motion design from your brand guidelines, an animated Lekty'Book page or a scene with a character. Still images move gently, and look the same in the preview and the mp4.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a reel › Video workshop › a clip › "The background"
  1. Click a clip, then open "The background".
  2. Pick one of Agent Kéry's suggestions, the motion design from your brand guidelines (the star), or click "Search" to browse the image library.
  3. To upload your own photo or video (JPEG, PNG, WebP, MP4, MOV), click "My media". To reuse a file you've already saved, click "My media library".
  4. On a video background, set "The part kept" with the two handles, or click "Fit to clip length".
  5. On a photo, choose "The movement": "Zoom in", "Zoom out", "Left", "Right", "Up", "Down", "Still" or "Automatic".

A Lekty'Book page as background

A page from your Lekty'Book comes to life behind the clip, with the sentence highlighted or the page scrolling, drawn in your brand style. It's visual proof that your content comes from your own expertise.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a reel › Video workshop › "The background" › "A Lekty'Book page"Free with "Suggested". "Agent Kéry picks": 10 tokens (12 on Freemium).
  1. In a clip's "The background", click "A Lekty'Book page".
  2. Choose "The Lekty'Book", then "The chapter".
  3. For "The sentence to highlight", take the one marked "Suggested" or click "Agent Kéry picks".
  4. In "The page animation", choose "The highlighted sentence" or "The scrolling page", then "The highlight style".
  5. Click "Place this page".

Really striking in a demo: you see the creator's Lekty'Book turn into a reel.

On-screen text

Format each clip's text (bold, italic, capitals, color per word), place it at the top, middle or bottom, and drag it around the preview. Choose a highlight style (marker, underline, box, neon, pill) or the quote style.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a reel › Video workshop › preview
  1. Click the text in the preview: the "Format text" toolbar appears.
  2. Select some words, then apply "Bold", "Italic", "CAPITALS" or "Word color".
  3. Choose a highlight style (3 shown based on your Brand Kit's tone, the rest in "More styles").
  4. Place the text "Top", "Middle" or "Bottom", or drag it on the preview (a magnet snaps it back to center) or move it with your arrow keys.
  5. Click "Guides" to see the areas the platform covers (header, buttons, caption) and keep your text out of them.

"Listen to it", then "Make the video"

You can listen to the voice for the whole reel on the preview first. Then the video is made in your browser, as an mp4 ready to publish. If the tab closes, the export picks up again with no second charge.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a reel › Video workshop15 tokens per video in total (voice 4, then editing 11, charged once). Redoing the voice: 4 tokens. On Freemium: 18 in total (voice 5, editing 13). Canceling the export gives your tokens back.
  1. Click "Listen to it · 4": the voice is generated and plays on the preview. Like it? Click "Assemble the video".
  2. Or click "Make the video" right away: voice and editing in one go.
  3. "Ready to publish?" checks everything (length, figures, claims, repetition, covered areas). Fix it in one click with "Apply with Agent Kéry", or choose "Export anyway".
  4. Keep the tab open while the video is being made. If it gets interrupted, click "Resume export".
  5. Click "Download". After a text change, use "Redo the voice and video". After a simple setting change, use "Update the video" (included).

The file is made in Chrome or Edge on a computer. On Safari, Firefox or a phone, a message warns you before any charge.

The carousel workshop

Add, move, duplicate or delete your slides, and choose their type (standard, cover, list, quote, key figure, call to action), a template, your fonts, colors and backgrounds. Export as images for Instagram or as a PDF for LinkedIn.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › My content › a carousel › "Carousel workshop"Exporting is free.
  1. Open your carousel from "My content".
  2. In the "Template" drawer, click "Apply "Editorial"" (or another template), or name your style and click "Save this style". The star makes it your default template.
  3. Adjust "Type" (fonts and colors), "Format" ("Portrait 4:5" or "Square 1:1"), "Background" ("Brand", "Light", "Custom color", "Gradient") and "Frame" (numbers, signature, arrow).
  4. Edit the text of each slide and its "Slide type", and add or move slides in the timeline.
  5. Click "Download images" (a ZIP of PNGs) or "PDF for LinkedIn".

The post and story workshops

Your post shows up just like it will on the network you picked, with the "see more" cutoff in the right spot. A story is made of 9:16 screens, plus the sticker Agent Kéry recommends adding when you publish.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › My content › a post or a story › "Post workshop" or "Story workshop"Exporting is free.
  1. Open your post or story from "My content".
  2. Edit the text, font and background just like in a carousel.
  3. Post: check the first line of your caption. It's what people read before "see more".
  4. Story: read "The sticker recommended by Agent Kéry" and click "Copy sticker text".
  5. Click "Download image" (post) or "Download screens" (story).

Instagram doesn't let any tool add a clickable sticker, so Lektify gives you the text ready to paste.

Alternative openings

On the cover of a carousel, post or story, you'll find the "Original" opening line (the hook, the first sentence that stops the scroll) and the ones "suggested by the proofreader". One click and you've switched openings.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a carousel, post or story › workshop › slide 1; for a reel: "Script" tab
  1. Open the workshop on the cover (slide 1).
  2. In "Alternative openings", click the one you like best. It's applied right away.
  3. Want more ideas? Click "More openings with Agent Kéry".
  4. For a reel, open the "Script" tab and click "… alternative hooks", then "Copy this hook".

Edits suggested by Agent KéryNew

In the workshop, Agent Kéry can see the content you have open. Ask for an edit, an extra slide or clip, or to fill in content you started from scratch. Kéry replies with a "Suggestion" card that you can apply or skip.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a piece of content › workshop › "Talk to an agent" › Agent KéryA small edit is included in the message. An added slide or clip: 10 tokens (12 on Freemium). More than half the content: the price of a full piece of content. The price is shown before you apply.

  2. Type your request, for example "add a slide with a concrete example".
  3. Read the "Suggestion" card and its price.
  4. Click "Apply to carousel" (or reel, post, story), "Add slide" or "Fill in the …". "Not this one" dismisses it.
  5. Not happy with the result? Click "Undo" below the timeline.

Repurpose into another format

Would your carousel make a great reel? "Repurpose as…" rewrites the same content in another format and keeps the images you chose.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › My content › a piece of content › "More actions"The price of the target format: 70 tokens (84 on Freemium), charged only if Agent Kéry succeeds.
  1. Open the content's "More actions" menu (or the "What's next? Repurpose as" chips on the content page).
  2. Click "Repurpose as…" and choose the new format.
  3. Confirm with "Repurpose as …". The workshop for the new format opens.

"Add a language" to a piece of contentNew

Translate a reel, carousel, post or story you've already written: script, on-screen text, slides, caption and hashtags. You review each line with the original right below it.

Where: Studio › Creative Lab › a piece of content (or My content › "More actions") › "Add a language"10 tokens per translation (12 on Freemium). A reel's voice is then charged at the usual price.

  3. In "Translate into …?", click "Translate".

What's guaranteed behind the scenesNew

Every exported file (video, images, ZIP, PDF, MP3 voice) carries an invisible AI watermark, as required by the European AI law (AI Act). An interrupted export picks up again without charging you twice, and a canceled export is refunded.

Where: Automatic, with every export from the workshops
  1. Export your content as usual. The watermark is added without you doing anything.
  2. If the export stops, click "Resume export". Nothing gets charged again.
  3. If you cancel with "Cancel export", you get your tokens back.

Trust point: creators stay compliant with the AI Act without even thinking about it.
