The platform

Account and payment security

What everyone sees of Lektify security: two-factor authentication, captcha, payments through Stripe and hosting in Europe.

Turn on two-factor authentication

On top of your password, you enter a 6-digit code from an app on your phone (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, Apple Passwords). It's checked by the server, not just on screen.

Where: Profile menu › « Settings » › « Security »
  1. Open « Settings », « Security » section.
  2. Next to « Two-factor authentication », click « Turn on ».
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or use « Copy key » if scanning doesn't work).
  4. Enter the 6-digit code, then click « Turn on two-factor authentication »: a confirmation email follows.
  5. Each time you log in, enter the code, then click « Confirm ».

Log out my other devices

Lent someone your computer or lost your phone? Close all your other sessions in one click. You can also change your password or email.

Where: Profile menu › « Settings » › « Security » › « Your devices »
  1. Open « Settings », « Security » section.
  2. In « Your devices », click « Log out my other devices ».
  3. For your password, fill in « Change password », then click « Update ».
  4. For your email, fill in « Change email address », then click « Change », and click both links you receive.

Secure payments with Stripe

All payments (purchases, subscriptions, tokens, plans) go through Stripe's secure pages: Lektify never sees your card. You manage your payment method and invoices in the Stripe portal.

Where: Lekty'Book page, « My tokens », « Pricing »; then « Settings » › « Studio subscription »
  1. Start a purchase or a top-up.
  2. Pay on the Stripe page.
  3. Afterward, manage your card and invoices with « Manage my subscription ».

« Secure payment by Stripe » appears on every sales page: an instant trust signal for buyers.

Bot protectionNew

A bot check protects sign-up, login, forgotten password, the waitlist, the free guide, the contact form and password changes.

Where: Sign-up and login pages, waitlist, free guide, Contact
  1. Open the sign-up or login page.
  2. The bot check runs, usually without you having to do anything.
  3. Carry on as usual.

What's guaranteed behind the scenes

Data is hosted in the European Union (Ireland), each person's data is closed off from other accounts, links are checked when they're displayed, and a full security audit was carried out before launch, with automated tests on every update.

Where: Automatic
  1. Nothing to do: protection is on for every account.
  2. Turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection.
  3. If something seems off with an account, email contact@lektify.app.

Selling point for creators: their paid Lekty'Books can't be opened without valid access.
