Create and sell your Lekty'Books

Publish and manage your Lekty'Books

Once your chapters are ready: free excerpt, comments, verified publishing, export and organizing. For creators who put their catalog online and keep it up to date.

The Lekty'Book page in dropdown menusNew

Your Lekty'Book settings live in menus that open when you click them, so your chapters stay in view: "Access type" (mode and price shown in the header), "Discounts and promo codes" and "Lekty'Book styling". Comments stay visible below.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book (/studio/books/…) · Open
  1. Open your Lekty'Book from "My Lekty'Books".
  2. Check your sales mode and price in the "Access type" header, then click to open it.
  3. Open "Discounts and promo codes" for this Lekty'Book's offers (only if it's paid).
  4. Open "Lekty'Book styling" for the background, color and fonts.
  5. Click a header again to close it.

Draft, published and "Publish all"New

Each chapter has its own status: publish as you go, or publish all your drafts at once.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › Chapters
  1. Open your Lekty'Book.
  2. On the chapter's row, click its status ("Draft" or "Published").
  3. Pick the new status from the menu.
  4. To publish all your draft chapters at once, click "Publish all (N)".

Set the free previewNew

One chapter is free for everyone, to spark interest. Afterward, the reader sees a banner that takes them to the sales page. A free Lekty'Book opens in full.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › Chapters
  1. Open your Lekty'Book.
  2. On the row of the chapter you want, click "Set as preview".
  3. The button changes to "Free preview".
  4. Click it again to remove the preview.

Only one chapter can be the preview: pick the most gripping one, it's your best showcase.

Turn comments on or offNew

You decide whether your readers can discuss each passage (and whether Lekty can reply to them). When comments are off, past conversations are kept and come back if you turn them on again.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › "Lekty'Fans comments"
  1. Open your Lekty'Book.
  2. Find the "Reader comments" toggle.
  3. Switch it to turn comments on or off.

Publish the Lekty'Book

One click puts your Lekty'Book live on the marketplace. If it's free, it's published right away. If it's paid, you need an active payment account.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › "Publish"
  1. Open your Lekty'Book and check that your chapters are "Published".
  2. Click "Publish" at the top right of the card.
  3. If your Lekty'Book is paid and your payment account isn't active yet, "Publish" is grayed out and a message asks you to activate it: click "Activate my account".
  4. When the message "Awesome! Your Lekty'Book is live and ready to sell." appears, click "View its sales page".
  5. To take it down later: "Unpublish" (back to draft) or "Archive".

The check when you publish

Every time you publish, AI reviews your Lekty'Book against the Lektify charter (real content, sales that stay on Lektify, no misleading promises, nothing illegal). Style, typos or a niche topic are never a reason. You can appeal.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book (moderation banner)
  1. Click "Publish": the banner "Your Lekty'Book is being reviewed by our moderation team" appears. You can keep working, the page updates on its own.
  2. If all is good, your Lekty'Book is live.
  3. If it "goes to human review", read "What caught our attention", add a note if you like, then click "Send my note". You'll get the decision by email.
  4. If it was removed, read the reasons, explain your side in "Your appeal", then click "Appeal the decision".

Why you can trust it: moderation protects honest creators, especially from people who send buyers to pay elsewhere to dodge the commission.

Export to PDFNew

A clean text version of all your chapters, with a cover page, a table of contents and a discreet "Created with Lektify · lektify.app" note in the footer, ready to save as a PDF. Your content stays yours.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › "↓ Export to PDF"
  1. Open your Lekty'Book.
  2. Click "↓ Export to PDF (text version, your content stays yours)".
  3. The print view opens in a new tab.
  4. Click "Save as PDF", then choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.

Multiple selection and archivesNew

Publish, move back to draft, archive or delete several Lekty'Books at once, and restore archived ones.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › "Select"
  1. Go to "My Lekty'Books" and click "Select".
  2. Check the Lekty'Books you want, or "Select all".
  3. In the bar at the bottom, choose "Publish", "Draft", "Archive" or "Delete".
  4. To get an archived Lekty'Book back, open the "Archived" tab, select it, then click "Restore as draft".
  5. Click "Done" to exit selection.

Delete a Lekty'BookNew

Permanent deletion with double confirmation: chapters, quizzes, audio and comments are lost. To simply take it off sale, use "Unpublish" or "Archive" instead.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › "Delete this Lekty'Book"
  1. Open your Lekty'Book.
  2. At the bottom of the card, click "Delete this Lekty'Book".
  3. Confirm once, then again at "Final check: are you 100% sure?".
  4. You're taken back to "My Lekty'Books".

A Lekty'Book with sales can't be deleted, only archived: your buyers keep their access.

Style my Lekty'Book (background, image, color, fonts)New

Make your Lekty'Book match your brand, in the editor and for your readers: page background color, background image (wallpaper), opacity, secondary color (right sidebar, progress, buttons, Lekty, quizzes) and fonts. A preview sheet on the right shows the result live.

Where: Studio › My Lekty'Books › a Lekty'Book › "Lekty'Book styling" menu
  1. Open your Lekty'Book and click the « Lekty'Book styling » menu.
  2. Click « Use my Brand Kit » to apply everything in one click, or set each element yourself.
  3. « Page background color »: pick a color from your Brand Kit, or « Choose my color ». The arrow resets to Lektify cream.
  4. « Background image »: click « Add an image » (landscape, 2400 × 1600 px recommended; a photo that's too heavy gets resized automatically).
  5. « Background opacity »: lower the slider to let the image show through the color.
  6. Choose your « Secondary color », then your heading and body fonts.

Your readers' night mode and dyslexia font always take priority over your styling. A color that's too light is slightly darkened on the reader's side so it stays readable.
