Create and sell your Lekty'Books
Offers and promotions
Promo codes, time-limited discounts, bundles, free trials and well-timed gestures to help sell your Lekty'Books. For creators who want to launch, celebrate or revive a sale.
The Offers pageNew
All your offers in one place, with their numbers: bundles, promo codes and time-limited discounts, the message shown when a payment is canceled, how long the checkout page lasts, and the last-chance offer.
- In the PODS bar, click « My space », then click « Offers » in the menu.
- For each offer, check its status (« active », « upcoming », « ended ») and its numbers (« N uses · X earned »).
- Click « Create an offer » or « Create a bundle » to add one.
- Click « End » to stop an offer right away, or « Delete ».
Only one discount per purchase: the best one wins. The price never drops below €1.
Create a promo codeNew
A code your Lekty'Fans type at checkout (e.g. NOEL25), or a link that applies it automatically. As a percentage or in euros, on one, several or all of your Lekty'Books, with an end date or no end date.
- Click « Create an offer », then choose « Promo code » under « Offer type ».
- Type « The code », then the « Discount » in % or €.
- Choose the « Lekty'Books included » (« All » or « Some ») and the « Offer duration » (3, 7, 14 or 30 days, « Pick a date » or « No end date »).
- For a subscription, set « Applies to » and the « Duration on the subscription » (« 1st month », « Several months » or « Forever »).
- Under « Options », you can limit it to new customers, to one use per person or to a maximum number of uses. Then click « Create code ».
- Click « Copy code » or « Copy the link that applies the code » to share it.
The link with ?code= applies the discount as soon as someone lands on the Lekty'Book page: perfect for a story or an email.
Launch a time-limited discount with a strikethrough priceNew
A strikethrough price that everyone can see, no code needed, until the end date, with a countdown on the Lekty'Book page. The strikethrough price follows the law: it's the lowest price from the last 30 days, calculated by Lektify (the « Omnibus » rule).
- Open your Lekty'Book, then the « Discounts and promo codes » menu.
- Click « Create an offer » and keep « Time-limited discount ».
- Enter the « Discount » (% or €) and check the final price example.
- Choose the « Offer duration ».
- Click « Launch discount »: the strikethrough price and « Ends in … » now show for your Lekty'Fans.
Your commission is calculated on the price actually paid.
Create a bundleNew
Several of your Lekty'Books sold together at a price you choose (a « bundle »), with no limit on how many. The bundle has its own public page, a mosaic cover or your own cover, and an « Also in the bundle » box on each Lekty'Book. Each Lekty'Book is still sold on its own too.
- Click « Create a bundle » in Offers, or check your Lekty'Books in « My Lekty'Books » and then click « Create a bundle ».
- Choose the Lekty'Books. For a subscription Lekty'Book, set the « Included access » (« Lifetime » or a number of months).
- Fill in « Bundle title », « Description » and « Price » (minimum €4.99). Check « X € if bought separately ».
- If you want, edit the « Summary shown in the bundle » for each Lekty'Book, and the cover (« My cover » or « Back to mosaic »).
- Check « Published (visible and on sale) » and click « Create bundle », then « View page ».
A Lekty'Fan who's on the fence buys everything at once. Revenue is split between the Lekty'Books in proportion to their individual prices.

Free days before the first subscription payment, and you choose how many. Only one trial per person per Lekty'Book, protected by account, email, IP address and bank card. A reminder email goes out 3 days before the trial ends.
- Open your Lekty'Book and the « Access type » menu.
- Under « Free trial », type the « Trial length in days » (leave it empty for no trial).
- Click « Save »: the preview shows « N free days, then the subscription starts. ».
- On your Lekty'Book page, your Lekty'Fans see the « Try free for N days » button.
If the card has already been used for a trial, the subscription starts right away, with no trial.

The canceled payment messageNew
What a Lekty'Fan sees when they leave the checkout page without paying: your message, plus (if you want) one of your promo codes, a free Lekty'Book, the Lekty'Book's free trial or an invitation to get your news. It shows up when someone comes back from a canceled payment and when they close the cart's payment window.
- Open the « Offers » page and find « Canceled payment message ».
- Check « Enabled » and write « Your message ».
- Choose whether to « Offer a promo code » (create a code first) and « Offer a free Lekty'Book ».

The Lekty'Fan sees « Before you go, a word from … »: a well-timed gesture brings back some of the people who were hesitating.
